Royal Moving operates as both a Household Goods Motor Carrier and a Household Goods Broker under the authority of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

When acting as a Motor Carrier, Royal Moving transports shipments using our own trucks, equipment, and employees. As a Motor Carrier, all pricing is based on Royal Moving’s published Tariff, which outlines our rates, charges, and service terms in compliance with FMCSA regulations.

When acting as a Broker, Royal Moving arranges transportation on behalf of customers through FMCSA‑authorized third‑party motor carriers. For brokered shipments, the assigned motor carrier uses its own pricing, tariff, and service terms, which may differ from Royal Moving’s Motor Carrier Tariff.

For brokered shipments:

• Royal Moving does not transport the shipment
• Royal Moving does not assume responsibility for the acts or omissions of the motor carrier
• The assigned motor carrier is solely responsible for the transportation of your household goods

Royal Moving only arranges transportation with motor carriers who:

• Hold active FMCSA authority
• Meet all federal safety and insurance requirements
• Maintain required cargo and liability coverage
• Are in good standing with the FMCSA

Customers may request at any time:

• The name of the motor carrier assigned to their shipment
• The carrier’s USDOT number, MC number, and insurance information
• The carrier’s safety rating and operating authority status
